Message from the Treasurer: folks as I'm sure most of you are aware, the club was successful in obtaining grant aid from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport & Media for floodlighting of our main pitch.
A deposit has already paid to the supplier and the next scheduled payment is due on delivery of the lights which is expected in the very near future. The next payment due covers 50% of the total project cost and is a substantial financial outlay for the club. Grant aid is only reimbursed to us in the month following that in which our payment is made so we are faced with a challenging cash flow situation for the next few weeks.
I would like to appeal to all players, parents and supporters to assist in minimising our financial exposure during this time by paying your club membership over the next couple of weeks.
