On behalf of myself and the members of the Committee I would like to welcome you all back to Ellis Park now that the 2024/25 season is in full swing.
In September, the mini section began training on Friday evenings and have now reverted to the usual time slot of 10.30 on Saturday morning.
Some of our youth squads have had pre-season friendlies and a handful of league matches have taken place.
Our J2 adult team have already brought home some silverware by winning the O’Sullivan Cup against a strong Cobh team. Our J1 team remain undefeated in a very competitive Munster Junior League Division 1 competition.
Off the pitch, we have a very hard-working committee striving to improve the club facilities for members and visitors alike. We recently secured €125k in a Government Sports Capital Grant to redevelop the top pitch. When completed this will greatly improve and extend the playing facilities for everyone. During the summer, many volunteers were involved in repainting the exterior and dressing rooms of the clubhouse. We have also upgraded our gym facilities.
Muskerry RFC is in a very good place - this does not happen by accident but through the hard work and dedication of our invaluable coaches, players, parents, volunteers and committee members. Together we make this club work.

This is vital to help with the day to day running of the club and can be made as a once off payment or as three separate instalments.
It is also critical that anyone taking to the field of play has personal insurance in place. For many of our younger players this may be covered through their primary school, and I would encourage everyone to look into the matter for their own peace of mind.
